A little late for #screenshotsaturday , but I'm working on some Accessibility features for my #indiegame.
This is part of my "Supercane" wall detection: a relative sound will play if the space to your left or right suddenly opens up or becomes significantly tighter.

@FavoriteMewArt@stealcase You blocked me while I was responding that this was a good point.
I understand your need to set boundaries, and I'll take my leave, but honestly found it a bit rude since from my perspective we were just talking in public, and I hadn't done anything hostile.
๐ bye

My 3rd day of the #GamesForBlindGamers jam!
Today I'm doing some Audio occlusion! Super useful way to gain info about your surroundings. Cleverly placed audio sources can do wonders for giving hints about when you pass a wall, a tree, or other things.

Day 2 of the Games for Blind Gamers jam!
#screenshotsaturday
Today I'm adding floor sounds for stepping on different surfaces: every little bit of audio feedback matters to positioning yourself in a 3d world. The less I have to communicate through TextToSpeech, the better. #a11y
I'm making a FPS Mech game for the Blind Accessible Game jam, and starting with an "Audio First" workflow.
The game will probably only have a HUD with no 3D visuals.
One small step for a mech, one giant leap for the game as a whole
