I got laid off 10 years ago today and I have been independently working for myself as a content creator ever since. I loved working for Bose, and honestly, I'd probably still be working there today had Dr. Bose not passed away and left the company where he did. Other than getting to work for my Dad, one of the best jobs I ever had.

But when they decided to send my job off overseas, I had an opportunity to see what being a full time creator could be like and if I am being honest, it didn't change anything other than making me more available if something came up.

My wife likes our lifestyle and that's really the only reason I get to keep doing this the way I do. It's so much different than when I started. Everyone wants to do this and many people have definitely passed me by. But I am still here and thankful.

So thank you to all the people that have stuck around and let me be me. Sometimes I suck and I know that, but most of the time I don't and I hope I've been able to bring some sense of happiness to you.

When I found out we were getting laid off, I was scared. Now I am thankful. Because I probably would still be there, and that would have been fine, but who knows how the last 10 years would have gone. This tweet is more for me. I like writing out my thoughts. But thanks for reading and being here through the highs and lows.
