The recent DCENT App Wallet Hack situation is horrible & very unfortunate. I know a few people who were hacked & see many victims on here as well. I've recommended the DCENT cold storage wallet specifically. The physical cold storage wallet has had zero issues over the years. The app wallet was always a risk just like every other app wallet out there. I've seen hundreds of hacks over the years on many different app wallets. They're all risky. If you have large amounts of CRYPTO on ANY APP/HOT WALLET... Withdraw it immediately & send it to a cold wallet or a credible/trusted exchange. Please stop using hot/mobile app wallets to store large amounts of crypto. To me, they're all vulnerable & all at risk. Cold Storage is the way to go. Can't believe we still have to say this in 2026. Paying a few extra bucks for a cold storage device can be worth millions of dollars in the future. Proper security in crypto should be your #1 priority.
