@mfsfox, the Solar Energy IL program started today with building and soldering circuits. We also made a simple semiconductor and built a solar cell out of it that generated 0.647 volts of electricity!
After 3 days of hard work, these students went from developing the abstract mathematical equation of a parabola to creating its physical equivalent. So when the sunlight hits it, the rays will meet at the focus. Now we just need some sunshine and food to cook @mfsfox
