@Digtoise69@evolve That's on Xbox AND PC
Forza Horizon 5 sold over 5 million copies on PS5 ALONE when it launched, and that was, what, a year after it released on Xbox and PC?
@Abriael That actually how I felt with how the rest of the new stuff was multiplat.
Guess we'll see, but i just can't imagine this moves anything for them
When we reported about Gears E-day coming to PS5 in 2025, it was always to our understanding that it wasn't going to be day and date, but rather follow the stagger release of other Xbox titles at the time. I believe this will still be the case, even if Xbox doesn't mention it now
2024 was when xbox started its multiplat push with Grounded.
I dont understand the take of this being the reason xbox is worst (its not) than it has been.
Did people forget the last decade of struggling they had, focusing only on Xbox??
Can't help but feel history is repeating itself here with new leadership trying to cater to a small online community to make them feel good at the detriment of the actual business.
What's going to happen is they will revert, see it makes no difference to console sales, then revert back to their OG strategy a year or two after Helix' launch because they want to be a multiplatform publisher and they don't care where their games sell.
@manfightdragon@axl99 It's not even just the fps, a lot of these pre rendered videos are also heavily graded with filters, and rendered in lower bitrate
@dapoets if someone had to pick brand new, why would anyone choose the Intel 7 270K over a 9800X3D?
Performance & workload differences aside, that Intel CPU is end-of-the- for that socket. Literally have to buy an entire new mobo if you want to upgrade.
@Glassdoorgamer PC's aren't even running at this full wattage all the time
Like cyberpunk, going to be 300-450W, one of the most demanding games.
Most games are probably sub 300W, even on max settings
@matola_10@Nabetinho i use a C2 OLED for my monitor, been what, maybe 5 years, of daily use, 8 plus hours a day with static portions.
IT can happen, but I'm under the impression of it being on the rare side
