@scoutandthesaints joined our middle and high School students for Chapel yesterday, bringing an incredible morning of music and worship to campus for our first day back!
Making the visit even more special, members of the band dropped in on our Chapel Band class, giving students the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and spend time with musicians actively pursuing their craft. Scout and the Saints includes MPCS alumnus Cash Powell and former student Scout Butler — a meaningful example for our students of where their own experiences in the arts can lead.
These are the moments that make arts education so special: learning from those who have gone before you, building relationships through a shared love of music, and seeing what’s possible beyond the classroom.

Our National Art Honor Society proudly hosted this year’s Paint Your Spot, where the Class of 2027 transformed ordinary parking spaces into colorful reflections of their personalities, passions and favorite verses.

Tickets now on sale for “Singin’ in the Rain, JR!” The production takes the stage next Friday, June 26, at 5:00 p.m. in the Kristi Lynn Theatre, presented by the Murray Arts Academy featuring talented performers from rising grades 5 through 12. Learning sign language became a colorful, hands-on experience in our #MPCSHighSchool ASL classroom as students painted their hands to match different signs and meanings! From nouns such as flag, various animals, and football to verbs such as jumping and surfing, and much more, each painted design matched the sign being represented — turning hands into colorful works of art while reinforcing ASL vocabulary in a fun and memorable way. We love seeing our students learn through creativity and self-expression! #AcademicExcellence #ASL

MPCS congratulates the class of 2026 and all of their accomplishments. This group comprises 109 students accepted into 97 of the nation’s finest colleges, and universities. The top colleges chosen by students to attend are KSU, Alabama, Auburn, Samford, Georgia Southern, UGA, and Georgia Tech. This class earned a record of $12.8 million in scholarship offerings!

As is MPCS tradition, rising seniors from the class of 2027 are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to decorate their parking spots! A design that honors our school community and demonstrates

The #MPCSFamily gathered—alumni, current families, students, and friends—to close out our 50th anniversary year with a special Night of Worship. It was a beautiful evening of lifting our voices together, reflecting on God’s goodness, and giving thanks for His faithfulness through every season. The evening also included special messages of heartfelt reflection by alumni, Taylor Wenzel '12, and senior, Carson Kessler.
