Nearly 20 #MPCSHighSchool students and staff traveled to Alaska for our first mission partnership with Praying Pelicans Missions. Throughout the week they served local ministries, helped prepare a Christian camp for the summer season, and encouraged members of the community through prayer and service.
Most importantly, our students grew in their faith, leadership, and servant-heartedness as they lived out the love of Christ. We look forward to seeing how God continues to work through this partnership in years to come. #PreparingServantLeaders #HandsAndFeet #MPCSMissionTrip #PrayingPelicans
With prayers, love, and encouragement, our eighth-graders marked the end of their middle school journey during the cherished Eighth-Grade Blessing ceremony. It was a meaningful time to honor who they are, speak truth and wisdom over them, and celebrate all that lies ahead as they step into #MPCSHighSchool.

The varsity and JV #MPCBaseball teams wrapped up their season by serving the community and volunteering at the Horizon League’s final game of the year.
Horizon Field at the Acworth Sports Complex is home to a league that gives children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities the chance to play baseball while building lasting friendships.
Each MPC player was paired with a “buddy,” supporting them on the field and creating meaningful connections before celebrating with the end-of-season trophy presentation.

The #MPCSFamily gathered—alumni, current families, students, and friends—to close out our 50th anniversary year with a special Night of Worship. It was a beautiful evening of lifting our voices together, reflecting on God’s goodness, and giving thanks for His faithfulness through every season. The evening also included special messages of heartfelt reflection by alumni, Taylor Wenzel '12, and senior, Carson Kessler. Led by our talented student singers and high school chapel bands, the night was a meaningful reminder of the strong foundation God has built at MPCS and the legacy of faith that continues to carry forward. #50YearsOfFaithfulness #50YearsOfMPCS

What an incredible day of serving! Thank you, #MPCSFamily, for being the hands and feet of Jesus during our annual Family Serve Day, and showing our community what love in action truly looks like. More than 1,300 students, families, and staff members served at 58 locations across Cobb County and greater Atlanta—giving over 4,500 hours of service to others. From landscaping yards and cleaning classrooms to performing at nursing homes, spending time with assisted living residents, assembling meals, cleaning wheelchairs, organizing donations, packing books for children in Africa, creating care bags for children with cancer, mentoring students, painting artwork for hospitals, and so much more—our community made a meaningful impact.
Thank you for living out 1 John and reminding us what it means to serve with love. We’re so grateful to be part of this incredible commUNITY. #MPCSFamilyServeDay #HandsAndFeet

Mrs. Stephens’ PK4 class reminded us of the true joy of Easter as they led their very first chapel during Holy Week. With sweet voices singing “Hosanna” and hearts full of praise, they shared the incredible love of Jesus and the hope we celebrate this season. It brought so many smiles—what a beautiful reminder of Easter’s greatest gift. Great job, friends! #MPCSPreschool #ChristCentered
Congratulations to newly awarded Eagle Scout J. Orso of Boy Scout Troop 277 at First United Methodist Church of Marietta! Each Memorial Day, he honors our heroes by placing flags at Marietta National Cemetery. On his eighth-grade trip to Washington, D.C. with MPCS, he proudly represented both Troop 277 and MPCS by helping place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. For his Eagle Scout project, he built garden beds at MDE School, creating lasting opportunities for students to learn and grow. We are beyond proud of our MPCS Eagle and Eagle Scout! Way to go!
