Here's a video of the prayer of the faithful in Igbo language at the Pope's Christmas Vigil Mass yesterday at the Vatican.
An Igbo couple also joined in carrying the gifts to the Pope during the Eucharistic Procession.
Yesterday, I received a team from NNPC Medical Services Ltd @nnpclimited ahead of their program for this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month which includes the free education on carrying out a self-breast exam, among others.
From my interaction, I realised that awareness transcends the symbolism of a pink ribbon; it represents the bravery to engage in difficult conversations about women's health. It’s about asking your loved ones if they’ve scheduled their mammogram and being there to listen and support without judgment. Awareness means being a constant source of strength—not just during the tough times but also in the quiet moments of fear.
While we often hear that breast cancer primarily affects women, it truly impacts families as a whole. I think about my wife, mother, sister, and friends, and I’ve learned that as a man, my role in this fight is critical. I’ve witnessed the remarkable strength of those facing this disease, and it inspires me to take action.
So, to all the men out there—brothers, sons, and fathers—we must step up and support our loved ones. Let’s embrace our roles in awareness and action, educate ourselves about the signs, and show that we are all in this battle together.

Yesterday, I participated in a thrilling basketball match organised by the NNPC Basketball Team in honour of our board chairman, Engr. Adamu Musa Kida. The game featured Team Board against Team SMT, and when asked which team I supported, I playfully replied, "the winning team that has the NNPC Ltd label," acknowledging the presence of both teams on the court.
Today, as we observe World Ethics Day, I want to highlight the deeper significance of team sport and teamwork. They are more than just activities; they foster a strong work ethic and highlight how individual efforts contribute to our collective success.
I encourage my colleagues at NNPC Ltd and others to unite in purpose, reaffirming that ethics is not just a policy, but our fundamental promise and the essence of leadership. This commitment is the soul of NNPC Ltd @nnpclimited #worldethicsday2025 #ethics #ethicsreenvisioned #teamwork #sports
