Madhya Pradesh: The Ideal Investment Destination

Madhya Pradesh is setting new benchmarks with its thriving industrial landscape. With world-class infrastructure, abundant resources, and progressive policies, the state is emerging as a premier destination for investments. During the Global Investors Summit 2025, Madhya Pradesh introduced 18 new industrial policies to attract investors and accelerate economic growth.

To further strengthen the industrial ecosystem, the government has disbursed ₹1,778 crore in subsidies with complete transparency and efficiency, ensuring direct financial support to businesses. Recognizing the importance of inclusive growth, ₹284 crore has been allocated for the construction of eight women’s hostels in key industrial zones, fostering greater accessibility and opportunities for women entrepreneurs and professionals.

Compliance Reduction & Deregulation in Madhya Pradesh

The Government of Madhya Pradesh organized a high-level meeting with the Government of India’s Task Force on “Compliance Reduction and Deregulation” to improve the investment climate of the State. The session, chaired by Shri Raghwendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion (DIPIP), witnessed insightful deliberations on streamlining regulatory processes and reducing compliance burden on businesses.

Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, head of the Task Force, provided the context, emphasising the importance of policy simplification for fostering industrial growth. Feedback of the entrepreneurs and association members of PHDCCI, FICCI, Laghu Udyog Bharati, and CII was sought on 23 priority areas identified by the task force.

With a strong focus on simplifying regulations and promoting a business-friendly environment, Madhya Pradesh continues to drive impactful reforms, attracting investments and accelerating industrial growth.
