Last Saturday we celebrated #Sport Day at Luigi Giussani High School ๐
A festive atmosphere, families cheering, friends supporting each other, and students #playing different sports.
A beautiful day of community, energy, and joy โฝ๐
In Kireka, many women still break stones in the quarry, one of the few jobs accessible without formal education. The work is exhausting, and the income barely covers survival. Some are now members of MPI , joining saving groups and imagining opportunities beyond the quarry.
With #InternationalWomensDay approaching, we want to celebrate all the women of MPI. Their strength and dedication are the foundation of our work and of the change we want to see in the future. โจ
These photo shows some of the incredible women who are part of MPI ๐
Training at Luigi Giussani High School for the first group of students in 2026. The training will take place at the school and will conclude with an assessment at Ssonde Mixed Farm.
This week at the farm we had a few of our youth receiving agricultural Items/products given to them by Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Uganda through @TheSAYproject and Meeting Point International (MPI) to support them in their different agri-businesses.
Last weekend, the nursery children of Luigi Giussani Pre-primary and primary school had an unforgettable sports and fun day. The day was filled with laughter, vibrant colors, and endless joy as our little ones engaged in exciting games, guided by their wonderful teachers.

This week at MPI sonde mixed farm we had an inspiring #capacitybuilding training for our staff to handle the poultry work in the farm and also support our youth facing challenges in poultry farming particularly broilers.
At the Luigi Giussani Schools, every student is a value. We believe in individual attention and love. Smaller class sizes (never exceeding 50 students) to allow our dedicated teachers to truly connect with each student, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
We were privileged to have an engagement with a team of @FondazioneAVSI staff under the Distance Support Project (DSP) yesterday.
Under DSP, AVSI offers individuals the opportunity to support the education of underserved children.

This week we hosted four incredible women from Italy, Ilaria Brusadelli, Chiara Angeli, Rebecca Bonfanti and Aurora Cortopassi from Giallo Zafferano. It was filled with learnings, connection and they gained a deeper understanding of our work with the distance support program.
Our weekly meetings offer a total approach to a person and their well-being. Led by the talented Yaya, our first yoga session at the Tennis Court saw a fantastic turnout from the women and men of MPI.
Our Social workers, Teachers, Headmistress and Education Advisor of Luigi Giussani Pre-primary and Primary School come together each term to conduct meetings discussing each studentโs progress and personalize support.
Women and men of Meeting Point International welcome Fr. Andreas from Italy who will be leading their children who are at the University through a 3-day spiritual exercise. He shared a beautiful message: โEven when we make mistakes, our value as humans never diminishesโ
