This is very sad news. Thinking of the family & the entire @musqueam Nation on the passing of Ron “Bud” Sparrow.

R. v. Sparrow is arguably the seminal Aboriginal rights case in Canadian history [R v Sparrow, [1990] 1 S.C.R. 1075].

Incredibly sad news. Dr. Joe Gosnell Sr. was an extraordinary leader...a calm & thoughtful man who led the Nisga’a Nation into self-government, signing of the 1st modern Treaty in BC.
