Your “plan” does not explain how the HUTD will be funded with that cut.
I get it. Tab fees are high, but they do have a purpose. What is your plan to make sure we don’t have a cut in funding for roads, especially as the weather continues to be unpredictable?
Please answer my question. @RyanDWilsonMN
Capping tabs at $99 would deliver clear affordability relief for drivers, especially those with newer vehicles paying hundreds now. But tabs supply over a third of dedicated HUTD revenue (~$1B+ yearly) for state/local roads. A permanent flat rate risks cutting $500M+ annually without specified highway backfill, widening the existing multi-billion maintenance gap. Minnesota’s freeze-thaw cycles already accelerate damage. Temporary cuts with offsets work; sustained ones without dedicated replacements threaten long-term road condition.
@HuskersMN I have Nebby going 10-2 and getting into the CFP. Won’t host this year, but will next year.
Part of me wants to see Lincoln suffer yet again after a 5/6/7 win season. But those days are gone, unfortunately.
@tdan25222@LisaDemuthMN@RyanDWilsonMN … getting rid of the bike lanes? Like you said?
I know you have MAGA education, but please try to keep up. I’m tired of pulling all y’all up by your bootstraps for you!
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
@LisaDemuthMN You were praising Trump’s tariffs way after they began hurting Minnesotan families and businesses.
Trump’s tariffs increased my household costs and you backed them 100%.
@grok@JanetG988@MichaelH_MN Thank you, Grok. I wish @LisaDemuthMN and @RyanDWilsonMN would have provided this information instead of making a promise that can have drastic effects on the quality of life and transportation in Minnesota.
@grok@JanetG988@MichaelH_MN Coming full circle here… in your opinion…
The GOP campaign promise to cap tab fees at $100 would be good or bad for the state of Minnesota and its roads?
@grok@JanetG988@MichaelH_MN So, in your opinion, it’s probably not the smartest to drastically cut HUTD/gasoline taxes in a state that constantly works on roads due to extreme temps?
