Join us TODAY at 4pm ET for a discussion with @AkbarSAhmed on his new book "CROSSING THE RED LINE" detailing how key Biden officials sidelined internal dissent and expertise to continue to supply arms to Israel in violation of both US and international humanitarian law. First of all, it’s Mayor Mamdani not Mandani so get that right. And you of all people who was outright rejected by Florida Democrats is the last person to be passing judgment. Mayor Mamdani is an excellent leader who sees the humanity in all of us and will call out injustice wherever and whenever he sees it.

The biggest risk of AI in the military?

With so little oversight or public awareness, it could make it a lot easier to slide into new wars.

[jeremy scahill @jeremyscahill]

For more than two months, I have been working on a truly horrific story about one of the gravest war crimes committed by the United States since Vietnam: The bombing of the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, Iran. It was one of the first targets struck in the opening hours of the war on February 28, 2026.

At least 156 people were killed in the U.S. cruise missile strikes—120 of them were children and 26 were teachers. We spoke to survivors, first responders, parents, doctors, teachers, psychologists, and other witnesses. Some of them had never before shared their experiences of that day.

It would be impossible to do justice to what happened in Minab that day with words alone. In more than 25 years in journalism and reporting on war, I do not believe I have reported on a more heinous single crime.

Please share this story with as many people as you can.

[Sen. Bernie Sanders @SenSanders]

In January 2024 I forced a vote to investigate human rights abuses by Israel in Gaza. Only 11 Senators supported it.

Today, 47 Senators voted on a similar resolution to investigate Israel’s actions in the West Bank.

Listen to the American people:
NO MORE MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL.

[Yasmine Taeb @YasmineTaeb]

BREAKING: Tonight, 46 Dem Senators + @SenRandPaul voted YES on Sen. @ChrisVanHollen's 502B(c) resolution (S.Res.852) requiring the State Department to provide a detailed report on Israel's human rights practices and increasing violence in the West Bank within 30 days – including the killing of nine American citizens and the Israeli military’s abduction and detention of children.

@SenSanders forced a first-of-its-kind vote under 502B(c) of the Foreign Assistance Act more than two and and a half years ago on 1/16/24 on Israel's genocide in Gaza that only 11 Senators voted to advance.

While tonight's privileged resolution ultimately did not pass, it marks a significant shift in pressure and demanding accountability for the Israeli government's human rights abuses. The AIPAC days are over.

P.S. Yes, @SenFettermanPA was the only Dem Senator to vote No.

[Yasmine Taeb @YasmineTaeb]

TAKE ACTION: Senators must VOTE YES *tonight* on Sen. @ChrisVanHollen’s privileged resolution (S.Res.852) that would require the State Department to provide a detailed report on Israel’s human rights practices and increasing violence in the West Bank within 30 days – including the killing of nine American citizens and the Israeli military’s abduction and detention of children.

This report provides an important opportunity toward accountability for the Israeli government's human rights abuses.

TAKE ACTION at the link below and urge your Senators to vote YES.

Our friend @AkbarSAhmed’s book "Crossing the Red Line: Biden, His Advisors, and Israel's War in Gaza" was released this week! Grateful to @mideastXmidwest for organizing an excellent roundtable with Akbar at @InGlobalAffairs at @EurasiaGroup in New York City to discuss his new book detailing the Biden admin's Gaza policy and how key officials sidelined internal dissent and expertise to continue to supply arms to Israel in violation of both US and international humanitarian law.

Looking forward to reading Akbar's book and hope you'll check it out as well!

In case anyone was wondering who paid for the ads running across Times Square in support of Netanyahu: the Israeli government.

[Authentic Jew @authenttorahjew]

The tide in is turning, and it is not stopping.

One public message after another.
Jewish New Yorkers are coming out and saying it plainly:
Not in our name.
Zionism is not Judaism.
Netanyahu does not represent us.

Today this message is live in Times Square.

The NYT confirms Haaretz's report that Benjamin Netanyahu was secretly warned before Oct. 7, 2023 by the Emirati president that Hamas planned a major attack, per 2 sources

The warning was not shared with Israeli security chiefs, per 5 ex-officials

Netanyahu is the architect of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people. He is a war criminal and a fugitive charged by the ICC.

He can, and must, be arrested and prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
