In the early hours of Wednesday the 26th November, the Camberwell Green Safer Neighbourhood Team, executed a drug search warrant on a property in Draycott close.
Two people were arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs.

The day resulted in three arrests and the safe guarding of a six year old girl who was in the company of a sex offender. PC Megan arrested the male for breaching his conditions and he has now been given a custodial sentence.
Camberwell Green SNT assisted with a Facial recognition operation on Denmark Hill early this year. The operation involved a van equipped with facial recognition cameras which scans the faces of pedestrians who pass within the target area.

The cameras will automatically search the scanned faces against Police facial databases of known offenders, any that match and are also shown as wanted will alert the officers in attendance. The Cameras will also flag up registered sex offenders with court imposed conditions.

Crawford Estate drug dealer.
The team have been working to identify a regular drug dealer on the Crawford estate. The male was stopped and detained by PC Megan but made off and discarded
Denmark Hill. CCTV enquiries showed a number of the thefts were by the same prolific male known to the team. The male was arrested by PC Megan yesterday at the Eat a round the World Food Fair and charged with seven separate shoplifting offences.
Suspicious behaviour on the Mid-Elmington Estate.
Please be advised to lock your windows and balcony doors as two suspicious males were recently challenged whilst on the scaffolding of a block of flats, they failed to produce identification when asked by a resident
The resident did a great job challenging the men and we would always advise calling this in to police on 999 if you suspect they are criminals!
This time of year historically sees an increase in burglaries, especially around fireworks night and the lead up to Christmas!

Distraction Burglary at Coniston House, Wyndham road SE5.
On Thursday 26th September at around 3:15pm. Two males knocked on the victim's door and stated that they were plumbers working in the flat below, they said that a serious water leak was coming from the victim’s flat
