Detectives have secured warrants of further detention for four of the five men arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences this weekend. The men can now be held for questioning until Saturday.

Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Kingsbury. Local residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area as officers carry out enquiries.

A counter protest organised by 'Stop the Hate' will take place on the Strand at the north end of Waterloo Bridge. Participants in this or ANY other counter protest must assemble in the blue area. Groups popping up elsewhere along the route will be in breach of the conditions.

The Met has intervened to block a protest in Swiss Cottage this Friday to prevent further serious disruption to the life of the community.

Officers have imposed Public Order Act conditions meaning it may not take place in Swiss Cottage or the surrounding area.
