Fantastic turnout at this week's Parkrun on the common, officers took part and spoke to runners about Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) amongst other concerns. With a huge thanks to @MPSTootingBec and @MPSFurzedown for making it happen

Our team along with @MPSTootingBec have begun regularly patrolling the woods off Bedford Hill after numerous complaints of males engaging in sexual activity in the area. We are also liaising with park management to get the litter that has been left behind removed.

Officers have been increasing foot patrols around the Triangle/Balham Boxing Club area of the common after a few violent robberies in the area over the last couple of months. Please be aware if passing through and consider alternative routes if returning home late at night.
