We would like to announce the marriages of Little Crick, Little Spencer and Little Tull today. All weddings went smoothly and much celebrating took place. Photos to follow.
We would like to thank everyone who could make the fantastic finishes event last night. The children really loved sharing their learning with their adults.
The adults were very proud of the children in their very first sports day yesterday. Despite the heat everyone took part and tried their very best. Well done EY. You are all winners!
The EY children came back to school, after the holidays, to find that their class sunflower plants have grown. We have spent this week recording their change and learning exciting Sunflower facts.
The Early Years children released their first set of butterflies this week. The children have been caring for them since they arrived as tiny caterpillars. We have seen the caterpillars grow, cocoon and emerge as beautiful butterflies. What an amazing transformation!
Little crick had their very first class assembly yesterday. The adults were very proud of them. They showed great resilience in being in front of an audience. And their rendition of ‘we all went to West Lodge Farm’ was lovely. Next up will be Little Spencer.
This week the EY children have been learning how to write a diary entry to record the progress of our caterpillars growth. We can’t wait to see what happens next.
Each EY class received a surprise package in April. Their very own pot of caterpillars. The children were very excited and have spent the last few weeks watching as they have grown.
It was so wonderful to welcome so many special adults in to school to share a story with us all this afternoon. It’s always so lovely to invite our parents and carers in to spend time in our provision. #welovereading#parentswelcome 📚
We were so proud of one of our children today as she spent the day raising awareness of Kawasaki disease. She proudly told everyone she met about why she was busy spreading her story. #teamsocieti#soproud
The children in Crick class have been working really hard on their spellings in their phonics lessons. @LettersSounds we think you’ll be really impressed! #EYFS#alwayslearning
The children have been busy exploring ice thanks to the cold weather outside! This frozen tuff spot caused great interest and fuelled the children’s curiosity. #eyfs#IceIceBaby#smashingfun
