Does it seem like in the government/political world that problems like fraud and corruption can easily be identified but nothing is done about it and no one is ever prosecuted? Is this just one big shell game?
Ok. Let me explain. As an Illinois transplant to the amazing state of Tennessee. Only Memphis and the city limits of Nashville are Democrat ran. The state government is controlled by the Republican majority in the house and senate. Natives do NOT want transplants to bring their old political agenda from where they left. This is why we left. For reference our property taxes went up in Illinois more last year than we pay in Tennessee. There is so much development and business expansion throughout the state. It has been a wonderful adventure financially and spiritually. No more corruptive politics.
@timburchett I canโt tell you how refreshing you are and grateful you represent us in Tennessee. As a transplant from the corruption in Illinois, it is wonderful to know someone is representing us. Thank you!
When you pay your taxes this year remember the $14 Billion that was stolen by Somalis and the gutless politicians that continue to vote to fund them and others.
@SenRandPaul 100 % agree. But letโs not stop there. How about no tax dollars to your colleagues Alma maters like Mitch just snuck in the latest funding bill.
Mitch McConnell has been caught requesting 165 MILLION DOLLARS of your tax money to give to his alma maters.
This is a HUGE conflict of interest.
