When you run into your sweet colleague at the #ASCA24 conference talking to school counselors about furthering their professional development/career with the MNU play therapy program it makes your day!
My head and my heart are exploding after the last full day of the #ASCA24 conference. From running into former students to being included in my former school district’s counselor group filled my heart. Learning from Dr. Carolyn Stone was such a privilege.
This session was packed full of information and excellent resources about AI in school counseling. It’s a must for school counselor educators. Thanks @rsabella for a great presentation!
What a great event this afternoon hosted by MNU. I was able to be part of an amazing group of educational leaders that want to improve efforts around the recruitment and retention of educators. I enjoyed hearing from Dr. Randy Watson and @sharicedavids.

School Counselors deserve, relevant professional development the ENTIRE school year. A 1st year counselor doesn’t require the same PD as a 5th year counselor. Where’s the differentiation? If we want all counselors to grow, they should also have access to 1-on-1 coaching.
Our Summer Coffee event this morning was fantastic! It was great to meet & connect with so many counseling professionals & students in our region. Amber Dalzell, LCPC, ATR-BC, ATCS, presented on the topic of art therapy & trauma. Thank you to all who attended!
Another amazing group of school counseling students finished their last night of graduate school last night! I am so proud of them and all of their hard work. We processed their graduate school experience with a sand tray that they titled, “Just Keep Swimming.” ❤️
Good games this morning and the team is 4-2 playing well. Went 4-6 on the day with a triple (video below). Great being out there with the team and can’t wait to keep it going! @OSBaseballBC @ABrownell12@BCbaseballtoday@OSouthBaseball
