India focussed on śūnya (empty) as the original zero. Yet, the zero in Brahmagupta’s Addition Sutra 4 is not śūnya or empty. It says समैक्यं खम् (samaikyaṃ kham) so equal-union (of opposites) is kha.

Kha is what you have when positive and negative are equal. Not an empty zero. Not less than nothing. A balance where negative is NOT less than positive.

Zero became empty or nothing yet the entire world, including India, lost Brahmagupta's union of equal negative and positive, as kha not as śūnya or zero.

Now, the world's maths confusion can end, not with śūnya (ZERO 0), but with kha (my ZEO ⊜). 🤯

An interesting incident was narrated to me by a PhD student. The candidate had gone for darshan of Maha Periyava.

His Holiness: “What are you doing at present”?

Candidate: “I am writing a PhD thesis on Bharata Shastra”.

His Holiness: Have you completed it?

Candidate: “I have finished more than half, but the work could not proceed further due to some problems”.

His Holiness: “What is the problem?’’

Candidate: I am trying to trace the origin and development of various aspects of Bharata Natya with evidence from literature, music, sculptures and the Shastras. I am not to get the evidence required for about three centuries in the beginning of the millennium, although I have collected the evidence for the earlier and later period. So the work is unfinished.

The candidate told me that Maha Periyava hardly appeared to be listening as He was giving prasadam and talking to visitors in between the conversation. A few minutes later, He turned to the candidate again.

His Holiness: Have you been to Chidambaram?

Candidate: Yes, many times.

His Holiness: Have you visited the Nataraja temple?

Candidate: Yes, almost every time I visit the town, I go to the temple also.

His Holiness: “Do you go to Ambal’s sannidhi every time?”

Candidate: (Shame facedly) No, not always. Often I am in a hurry and have darshan of Lord Nataraja and return without having a darshan of Goddess Sivakami.

Maha Periyava did not reply and went on giving darshan to visitors. The candidate took leave and returned home.

A few months later during a visit to Chidambaram, the candidate visited the temple. Suddenly the memory of what Maha Periyava said, that Ambal’s sannidhi should also be visited came as a flash.

The candidate then told me. “As I entered the prakaram of Sivakami Amman I suddenly realised that all the sculptures in the four prakarams were the missing link for the evidence of three centuries for my PhD thesis. What I could not find out for several years, Maha Periyava divined in a few seconds and gave me the lead. It took me several months to even understand that hint!!!”

The thesis was quickly completed and submitted to the University and the candidate was awarded the PhD degree, thereafter.

14 km. That’s all his sons had driven the PM’s official car for a personal trip.

But Lal Bahadur Shastri wasn’t going to let even those 14 km be paid for by the public.

According to his son Sunil Shastri’s account, when the Prime Minister found out, he checked the car’s logbook and asked for the exact distance travelled.

Then he told his wife, Lalita Shastri, to give his personal secretary the corresponding amount so it could be deposited into the government account.

Think about that.
His sons. His official car. Just 14 km. And yet, not a single personal kilometre was allowed to become a public expense.

That same leader bought his family a ₹12,000 Fiat with a ₹5,000 bank loan instead of using government resources. When his son received an undue promotion, he had it reversed.

For him, integrity wasn’t just a speech.

And that’s the kind of leadership we need to remember today.

She lives alone in Navsari, with no family.

She started travelling alone from Navsari to Delhi, simply because she wanted to meet PM @narendramodi ji and give him her blessings.

But she accidentally got off the train at Gurgaon.

She had no family with her. No one accompanying her.

Police officers found her, helped her, and made sure she safely returned to Navsari.

But her wish remained the same.

She wanted to meet PM Modi once.

When asked why she wanted to meet PM Modi, she said:

“I want to bless Narendra Modi. He is like my son. I don't want anything else”

So this is the answer to Rahul Gandhi.
