@mindoverweaknes I once tried to help a delivery driver unload water jugs for the coolers at work. He angrily refused my efforts to help, claiming he didn't need any lawsuits from accidental injury. I never did anything more for him other than hold the door. Sounds like he's been burned before.
@AmericaPapaBear I agree that too many punks "FA" too long before the "FO" part happens. However, that move could have caused spinal injury and possibly death. High impact wrestling throws are for mats and rings, not sidewalks with railings and obstacles.
@ModernxDad Completely true for children with GOOD fathers. Mine passed in March and the timeline of change in perception is exactly correct in my case. I miss having his wisdom and concern for my well being backing me up. I'm flying solo now...
@TheEXECUTlONER_ I take "kid-friendly" to mean a trail meant for KIDS THAT KNOW HOW TO RIDE! Those kids look like they barely got off training wheels. Despite their BMX styling, those bikes are too small for the terrain. Dad should have known better about his boys' capabilities, or lack thereof.
@NoContextHumans Even if not real, such an encounter is entirely plausible. Black bears can be very curious, but easily frightened away. Not panicking when you're that close is wise.
Chuck Norris didn't join the Marine Corps...the Marine Corps applied to him.
Heaven’s streets have always been guarded by Marines. Today, Chuck Norris reported for duty.
We mourn the passing of Chuck Norris, a @usairforce veteran, who also became an honorary Marine in 2007 when awarded the title by then Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James T. Conway.
Chuck Norris is one of just over 100 individuals to be awarded the title of Honorary Marine in the entire 250-year history of the Corps.
Some missions may require a battalion, but this one just requires an Honorary Marine.

@PempressP It can be disorienting to young children to see such a drastic change in appearance. My kids had that reaction as well; after which I made it a point to show them pictures of younger me to affirm that "Daddy" didn't always have his fuzz. It gets easier as they get older.
@RedWaveCrewHP Four ideas: 1. Kid doesn't understand difference between ads and reality. 2. Kid has had better hamburgers and isn't impressed with McD's. 3. Kid is an ungrateful snot, needs attitude adjustment. 4. Kid needs a nap. Doesn't reflect well on the parents posting this. Not funny.
@maybedanielleee This is a rite of passage in Alaska. One time a storm dropped an inch of snow while I was in college. Seeing all the wrecks from panicked drivers was hilarious. Saddest part was that it happened in Everett, WA. My car wasn't even very good in snow but I knew how to drive in it!
@RedWave_Press Simple. Lemon isn't from Minnesota. Charge him in the state he claims residence on charges of crossing state lines for the purpose of First Amendment violations...
