Gen Alpha students and villagers in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur district staged a protest at the Collectorate, carrying the Tricolour and demanding a paved road to their school.

The students and residents of Chandu Pur gram panchayat travelled around 5 km in a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ before reaching the Collectorate and raising slogans over the condition of the road.

The protesters said they have to walk through mud to reach school and demanded that the road be constructed. They also said that no paved road has been built in the area since Independence.
