Morning begins hearing a sister crying

Her brother is locked up in a police station since last night

It's her brother's wife who threw hot milk on him while fighting with him but when police came, they detained the husband

I spoke to the SHO concerned & he says we will keep him detained further so that they don't fight !!!!

Despite Arnesh Kumar Judgment & SC guidelines not to arrest husband automatically in matrimonial cases, police across India is now arresting men under "shantibhang" provision & keeping them in custody unnecessarily until he gives in to demands of wife

When I reminded SHO about Arnesh Kumar Judgment he told me - aap hamein mat bataiye kaise kaam karna hai

@zoru75 Sir, the space in Delhi is muh more than Mumbai.

Also, even in Delhi, many stations don't have any facilities.
It depends on the space availability.

Having said that, last mile connectivity is very important so that even those ppl can shift from car/cab to metro.
