A recent study by the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College found that MRED's Private Listing Network effectively enables brokers to pre-market properties, while protecting sellers’ interests.
"In short, by making private listings more transparent, the policy reduced the frequency with which agents act against the interest of their clients. And this change was most beneficial for older sellers, who had been most likely to suffer reduced returns from private listings before the change."

MRED's residential marketplace registered a $340,000 median sales price during the first full week of March. That total was a 3% week-over-week increase to go along with an 8% year-over-year jump. The $340,000 mark was also the largest total since early December.

The 4,179 new residential listings in MRED's marketplace last week marked a 2% year-over-year increase. It was also the second straight weekly increase in that key metric, besting the previous week's total by 14%.
