This week at Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory (MRL), in collaboration with @inqababiotecWA , we wrapped up a fully hands-on molecular biology training on Gene Expression Analysis and Sanger Sequencing.

The training covered every step, from RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis to PCR amplification, gel electrophoresis, and chromatogram interpretation.

Each participant performed the full workflow hands-on, guided by MRL and INQABA BIOTEC facilitators.

Two new labs have been activated for inclusion in the NCDC Molecular Lab Network:

🧪Nasarawa State Diagnostic Laboratory, Lafia, Nasarawa

Testing at any lab in the NCDC network is FREE of charge.

We hosted a 3-days DTS-EQA training to enhance lab safety and health management.

Day 1: RIDDOR, hazards, biosafety
Day 2: Health surveillance, risk assessment

The distinguished Prof. @mayoolajide Olajide was recently received at @MRL_Uniosun

He spoke on the pharmaceutical, medical and industrial applications of high value natural products from food and agricultural waste.

His visit was to enhance our scientific cooperation.
