@OrpheusTel79166@TheBeatenBush@Scourge_5555@jdschang Just my theory of how that interaction mathed out, of course. Seemed like Clark's thought process changed from "this is a safe place to imprison me" to "I can be as fucked up as I want in here because I don't need to change." A self-destructive philosophy killed him in the end.
@OrpheusTel79166@TheBeatenBush@Scourge_5555@jdschang I think the counter would be turning his stand's logic against him. Break his confidence like the D'arbys. Clark was only attacked by the Captain when he changed his perspective to "It's okay that we hurt people, it's just the way we are." Thus, his copy immediately hurts him.
@23kadis@realvicktoon I distinctly remember seeing at least 2 wall outlet sockets in the movie so it is very possible to have a streaming setup in the Backrooms
@RedLineRemnant@ShipwrightA I believe they're talking about not just actually stonewalling it - no redirection, no angled surfaces to deflect off of, just a wall so strong that whatever got thrown at it stops in its tracks.
@durandalcomplex "Don't be acquired"
My mech becomes a fortune 500 business owner and accrues enough wealth to maintain business operations without ever being bought out
@officialcrim7 First ever was Pit of Heresy. Ironically, it's my least favorite dungeon in D2 now. But my buddies getting me into the game made it much more fun.
@BonklerJingus@eeuoss@HMBohemond I think I would be bored to tears if the conflict just stayed: real life stupid discourse but in space. You being unable to suspend disbelief if people with differences finally get along (after literally centuries of conflict, mind you) feels like it's not the writer's problem.
@Leuk0s@HMBohemond So... we DO NOT let in the "former hitlers" of the Eliksni. The ones let into the city are those looking for a peaceful home. In fact, we still REGULARLY FIGHT OTHER ELIKSNI. It is truly just a basic acknowledgment that not all Eliksni are exactly the same.
@DiethelmGehrman@inkblotPrincess I mean... its a roguelike. The entire point is that you have to learn how to adapt on the fly or lose the run. If that's not your style that's fine, but it's one of the defining aspects of the genre.
@xentinyl@Invinium@thunderba11r I will 100% agree that it has the strongest ost out of many of Fromsoft's entries. Dipping as deep as they did into varied styles and instrumentation yielded some incredible works of art.
@TStenstrom@Chaser3712@ApollosMission That's perfectly fine dude, do what you like above all else. There are just so many people arguing: if game isn't CoD or 2K, game = ... Final Fantasy? If you just want pickup->putdown games I understand, but there are a lot of fun games in that category people are missin out on.
@haddy69_@Chaser3712@ApollosMission I would gladly add fighting games to that list. I am being so genuine with you when I say there are hundreds of thousands of games out there that are not ball and gun games. And they're GOOOOOD. Not all games demand that you're a Dungeons and Dragons veteran or Final Fantasy fan.
@Asdfg14210@frayedform I find it very amusing that the "Indie" category isn't considered teuly Indie despite literally having teams of 2-6 developers in total
