Overall, the main aim is to he proactive now about students behaviours and help them realign expectations early on to have a successful life in the academy but to reach out and find exciting ways we can teach respect through exciting immersive projects on a zero £ budget.
I’m Head of Year 7 and reaching out for some inspiration.
I want to run an after-school intervention for a small group of students struggling with behaviour in class and have a focus on realigning behaviours through an Education Expectation 5 week programme focusing on Respect!
I was originally thinking of maybe helping the site team with any jobs they need doing and build respect through the environment that way, but I am on the look out for any ideas of what this could look like, or to see if your school has anything similar with success?
Thank you to our new Yr 6 into 7 parents & carers that joined us for our Information evening last night. This year we have launched an exciting Yr 7 team building residential trip.

The Club would like to thank the Spencer Villa Fund for its contribution to Lewis's wages as we face an important stage of the season where all efforts are focused on remaining in the league. We are excited by the signing of the young forward and Lewis is in line to make his debut for the home clash against Peterborough sports on Tuesday night.
The Spencer Villa Fund was relaunched last summer to enable supporters of Banbury United to “boost the budget” and contribute towards the signing of new players throughout this and future seasons. Supporters can learn more and contribute via this page. 👇

3rd option didn’t have enough characters but the jist is, allowed to come in pe kit during covid and now have retreated back to uniform and have to get changed.
With changing rooms being a big contributor to a reduction in PE lesson time, anxiety, not enough changing facilities & other reasons. I would like to know how many schools grant permission for their students to come in their PE kit if they have Physical Education on that day. RT
Corby Business Academy were thrilled to celebrate the Year 11 and Year 13 Prom celebrations this evening!
Thank you to the @HolidayInnCorby for the perfect venue. Thank you also to @guywalshphoto, Sky Events and to @TheEventFairies.
We are really excited to share the news that student Scarlett in Year 8 has been selected onto the 2023 – 2024 Women's artistic Junior programme with British Gymnastics.
This is a fantastic achievement that we think should be celebrated in all areas of life.
We are delighted to share that we have been graded as 'Good' in the final report findings from our most recent Ofsted visit in April 2023.
It represents a real team effort and collaboration with our community which we aspire to continue and develop.

Couldn’t be prouder of my year 7 football team. After losing 6-2 in our first game we have now won 5 on the bounce scoring 26 goals in the process but more importantly each school have mentioned how well they have represented themselves 🥳 #mrOball
