THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE

Artemis II Mission Commander Reid Wiseman captured stunning footage of the Earth setting behind the Moon in newly released footage shot during the historic lunar flyby.
Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶
The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.
Make new friends, but keep the old.
A new photo captures the Moon's near side on the right (the side we see from Earth, identifiable by its dark splotches) and its far side on the left. The Artemis II crew are the first to see the far side with human eyes.

⚠️⛈️ The threat for severe thunderstorms on Wednesday has increased across the Philly metro, southern NJ, and Delmarva. Exact timing of storms is uncertain, but the threat of damaging winds, large hail, and a brief tornado will ramp up into the afternoon and evening hours. (1/2)
🌇 We were treated to a spectacular sunset this evening! We are also hearing the spring peepers for the first time this season in the wetlands behind our office. It seems as if spring has sprung!
