@RaxRazing Teleportation through water portals (mirrors); the ability to summon Celestial Spirits using Selene's portal magic; or perhaps even a spell that combines water's buoyancy with lunar gravity. +
@RaxRazing I hope it's a spin-off about Ankhseram, the god who cursed Zeref. This was mentioned in several interviews in the past.
There is a lot of potential for Hiro to explore Take Overs similar to Dimaria's God Soul: Chronos.

Lucy's haters are freaking out because they don't want Mercephobia to be part of the character's power. They're creating a thousand theories to invalidate the character's development.
@Loke_cnv It's simple, these people don't want Lucy to surpass or overshadow their favorite characters in the manga's power scale.
And, to further support their argument, summons generally consume magical power directly from the summoner. Merc could do that with Lucy.
@B3NT0N18@KxmiKanSama He said he can fight temporarily, not that his key would break and he couldn't be summoned again.
People don't care about the CSK, they're worried that Lucy will keep a dragon as a summon. That's nothing new, but let's see what Hiro will do.
@B3NT0N18@KxmiKanSama And there's nothing wrong with that, since this is the final arc. Mashima has also demonstrated twice how to transform his last two heroines (Ellie and Rebecca) into powerful characters at the end of his manga, I see no reason not to do the same with Lucy.

@B3NT0N18@KxmiKanSama The key aligns because Erza already possesses armor capable of killing dragons, so she's already stronger than Lucy and Merc. After all, she's going to defeat Motherglare. Natsu is also much stronger than Lucy.

@KxmiKanSama Mercphobia is in a similar situation to Selene (lost most of his powers due to the destruction of the lacrima), nothing indicates that he can't recover some of his powers over time. Furthermore, summons usually consume magical power directly from the summoner, +
