@traceydisco Yes she is the sister of useless Jake and Geoffrey. They are still happy though Jake's legs are slowing down.
The drop out rate for mountain rescue dogs is very due to our tough standards.
We should do a post about former trainees one day. Their working life post SARDA.

The bodies have been amazing today, we are so grateful to them for coming out.

Here are a few photos of our dogs training over the past couple of weeks.
Poppy joined her fellow search dogs by the fireside in the sky last week. Her handler James and family will miss her but are thankful for all the work she did and joy she brought to their lives.

Sad news about retired Search Dog Poppy.
Search Dog Poppy graded in 2012 and enjoyed a long and busy working life.
She retired in 2020 as one of the oldest search dogs in MRSDE.
She attended countless callouts and always had energy when to play with her human brother and sister.
Body Annette has completed her 100km race!
9hrs of running on day one, 10hrs on day two. Wow!
Well done from all of our volunteer handlers and bodies.

This year I am again fundraising for my beloved Mountain Rescue Search Dogs. I am 51 โฆ this is hard โฆ can you help me?"
