Lot's of talent for the kids who are there. Just not enough kids to go around.
I think Lexington simply just needs to work on getting kids to get to the sign up sheets in the off season. Lot's of passion and grit, just need more development at the lower levels.
I give Lexington a D.
7 wins in the last 4 seasons is indicitive of a deep problem for Lexington. Team size continues to dwindle. This was their worst season in those last four at 1-9.
Very bittersweet when you see the quality size and demonstrable talent on the team.
Coach Frerking proved his worth and made Carrollton a much bigger competitor in the conference, but the indication as of now is that they still have much to work on.
That being said, the talent is there. The coaching is there.
Excited to watch moving forward.
I give the Carrollton Trojans a B for this season. Coach Frerking has leveled up this squad significantly this year. Fundamentally looked much more sound, and ending with a 5-5 record for the after going 0-10 last year is a clear directional shift.
I think Carrollton still has a long way to go, however. Lot's of mistakes and some questionable play calling this year make for some concerns moving forward. Getting over these humps is normal under a new system, but not every team does. Lots of a questions remain for Carrollton.
Last night Carrollton and Lexington had their seasons end 🫡🥺

Some fun facts about tonight:
Holden scored 60 for the first time since 2016. Holden has only scored 60 points in only 3 games since 2010. For as many good teams Holden has had they always had slow paced offense.
Knob Noster beat Richmond for only the second time in 20 years.
