Mark Carney could not be more out of touch.
With Canadians missing meals and mortgage payments, and days before he addresses the European Parliament (instead of the Canadian Parliament) we learn in a foreign newspaper of secret talks to make Canada an "Associate Member" of the European Union.
This is not about diversifying trade: we have had tariff-free trade with Europe for over a decade. They would buy more of our goods today if the Liberal government would get out of the way and permit mines, pipelines, LNG plants to produce and ship them.
Canadians deserve answers: Is the WSJ report true about associate membership in the EU?
If so, will European border policies apply in Canada, further overwhelming our immigration system while our youth can’t find homes?
Will Canadian waitresses struggling with rent have to pay tax dollars to the bloated EU bureaucracy?
Will Canadian small businesses be buried under the red tape of Eurocrats that have never met a Canadian entrepreneur?
All questions I’d ask in Parliament, but it is shuttered.
And one more: who decides for Canada?
The Welland welder did not elect a Eurocrat to regulate our steel. The Saskatchewan farmer and the Atlantic fisherman did not choose a Brussels agrifood regulator that has never even seen our prairies or coasts.
We will NEVER be the 51st U.S. state. And we will NEVER be the 28th EU state.
We are Canadians. This is our home, our freedom, our sovereignty, our people.
Now and forever.
Here is a chart showing economic growth since Mark Carney became Prime Minister in Q1 of 2025.
It is the worst.
Worse than Australia, the U.K., the G7, the EU, the U.S.
Worse than Mexico, which also shares a border and a trade dispute with the U.S.
Mark Carney promised to be first. He delivered the worst.
@AterraMetals I’d encourage management to crank up the marketing machine. The story needs to be told! These are world class assets. I am afraid nobody knows about it.

Canada already has a Chief Operating Officer. He’s called the Prime Minister.
The role of Prime Minister entails day-to-day duties associated with overseeing operations necessary to run a country. Our Prime Minister is too important to waste his time on governing so he’s handed it off to an American Democrat.
Canada, eh?
Elbows up!
True story. A 6th grade teacher asked her students. "How many of you are Mark Carney fans? "
Wanting to be liked and appreciated by their teacher, all the kids raised their hand except for Little Johnny. The teacher asked Little Johnny.
"How come you didn't raise your hand? "
Little Johnny answered "Because I'm NOT a Carney fan "
The teachers said "Why not? "
Little Johnny answered "Because I'm a Conservative"
So the teacher asked "Why are you a Conservative? "
To which Little Johnny answered "Because my dad is a Conservative and so is my mom. I'm just like them."
By now the teacher was becoming annoyed at Little Johnny's non-compliance to her indoctrination, so she asked.....
"If your mom was an idiot and your dad was a retard, what would that make you? "
With a great big smile Little Johnny answered....
"That would make me a Liberal and a Carney fan"
I can’t stand it when this little twerp claims to know what Canadians want.
And it’s insulting listening to the very people who have made life miserable in Canada tell us how they are supposedly fixing it.
Today, Mark Carney missed his 100th Question Period!
Congratulations!
No other Canadian Prime Minister has had such a dismal record.
Mr. Carney, show up and do your job.
It's what Canadians are paying you for.
Carney keeps telling you he will "spend less."
But Carney and his entourage billed you hundreds of thousands of dollars for their airplane food.
Does that look like spending less to you?
Or does it look like you're paying for politicians & bureaucrats to live the high life?

“JUDGE ME BY THE PRICES AT THE GROCERY STORE.”
~ Mark Carney, May 2025
Well ok…
…YOU’VE BEEN JUDGED AND YOU HAVE FAILED.
(So now what? A real man would resign. You absolutely have the power to affect positive change for us - you CHOOSE not to.)
Poilievre says PM Mark Carney was wrong on carbon taxes, pipelines, inflation, and deficit spending—and that Canadians are now paying the price.
"Mark Carney has made a club of Liberal insiders... fabulously rich while making everyone else poor."
