Essentially our gov will have to uplift an artificial standard of living, via subsidies and tariffs, to "protect" Americans artificial standard of living. This will lead to more inflation and deficit spending, I'm afraid that in 50-60 years we may become like Argentina

Another thing to add, since I follow Canadian politics, Trudeau and the Liberals must be popping champagne bottles bc if Trump lost he would be getting smoked by Pollivere. Essentially, Trudeau now has a path to victory solely on pointing to America and having the CPC on defense

2.) Trump won, sadly, bc he successfully convinced millions of Americans that tariffs/protectionism will usher in the "great American comeback". The election was not rigged, simply put millions of Americans decided than Jan.6th was not a deal breaker.

I'm seeing a lot of emotions RN if the timeline, and I just want to say two things: (1) I voted for Kamala and although she didn't win we should not blame her for having to basically cobble together a loose coalition (at best) in 3 months versus a deranged figure who has 2+ years
