There is this girl I know who is about 21 years old. She’s Gen Z, and she recently got her first office job at a marketing company in Texas.

Last week, she told me her manager was the most disrespectful person she had ever met.

Apparently, he asked her to put her phone away during a client presentation.

She said, “I’m 21, not a child. He can’t control what I do.”

The following morning, she arrived at work and found an email from HR waiting in her inbox.

She thought her manager had finally been reported.
