@jeremycorbyn What a waste of time. There is no genocide. Just revenge attacks on a bunch of Islamic Hamas terrorists. Why can’t you see this? It’s because you are a bigot?
@matthewcarter7@realninawysocka I doubt it. He seems to think MCR is the centre of the universe. It’s not. He’s not relatable to the rest of the country. Particularly if he hammers the Southern middle classes with massive tax rises. He has no mandate for any of this.
@Leftdoubleclick@Jeli1do@YvetteCooperMP@andyburnham Rather invalidates your original post nonetheless. Where does your £59m figure come from, given that tax evasion and hidden economic activity are by their very nature unknown?
@LabourfutureUK@andyburnham Not much of a challenge. Just wait until he’s found out because he’s all about taxing the middle classes to give it to his Northern mates and the idle scroungers.
@tigerfish4@wesstreeting@andyburnham Corbyn was put forward as a joke. And the public saw him as a joke. He got quite rightfully battered at the polls.
Winning parties normally get about 40%. Starmer got 33%. It was a protest vote.
Although we vote for local MPs, the majority vote for leader/party.
Burnham 0%
@tigerfish4@wesstreeting@andyburnham Corbyn was the joke candidate. He was never going to win an election. Labour is not that left wing.
But Starmer got less and won because the Tory voters stayed at home. Probably understandably. Won’t happen again.
Labour is disastrous for the economy. Burnham will continue that
@_PaulMonaghan@domdyer70 There was never a Palestinian state. There were never citizens of Palestine, it was made up by Arafat. It’s a geographical description. They are Jordanians, Egyptians and Syrians. They celebrated the barbarians of Oct 7th. Their parent countries don’t want them back.
@tigerfish4@wesstreeting@andyburnham 65% didn’t want labour. But in reality only 20% of the electorate voted Labour. Only 9.7m. And none of them for a Labour Party lead by Burnham.
A Labour Party that couldn’t even find a leader amongst its 400 MPs
He has no popular mandate and is too scared to get one.
@tigerfish4@wesstreeting@andyburnham Nothing to do with that.
Both Labour and the Tories have done this, but at least previously the new leader had been in the Cabinet.
Labour fiddled this.
An MP resigned for no reason to let Burnham in. Not one of the 400+ MPs stood against him.
Labour got 33% of the vote.
