One of few positives of current situation is getting around to things that life got in the way of. So here's a look back on last year's Euro U17 in Ireland - with a particular focus on Belgian and Dutch approach at youth level https://t.co/yos1s1NRs9
I watched the Rovers-Bohs game back today.
Really entertaining.
I enjoyed the coverage, and it looked great with a full stadium in great voice.
Another example of where #LOI football is going, and can be, with the right support all 'round.

Shamrock Rovers have a chance to seize the initiative in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division title race when they welcome Drogheda United to Tallaght tonight.
Rovers, Bohemians and St Patrick’s Athletic are all level on 59 points, but with their Dublin rivals not in league action this weekend, victory in their game in hand tonight would move Rovers three points clear at the top.
Drogheda are battling at the other end of the table and can move out of the relegation play-off position with a result.

Straight from the Trump playbook. Every accusation is a confession.
There was one credible complaint of racism last week - Israeli fans towards Adam Idah and James Abankwah. Strange that this would only come up now.
Uefa have confirmed that the allegation of racist abuse towards Adam Idah by Israeli supporters last night cannot be investigated due to the correct protocols not being followed.

Spotlight should fall on FAI board, not the players on a night when important business was lost before a ball was kicked

Israeli FA statement to start presser: “Football has won. The separation between football and politics must be maintained, any other approach spreads chaos.”
Says IFA (Israel FA) and FAI have stood together to prevent people who wish to turn football into a political arena
That press conference was shameful. Where were FAI execs before now? Why were they letting Hallgrímsson answer a succession of mad questions from Israeli journalists? This is their mess. And what support are they all offering Bazunu? (not much based on that press conference)
The Ditch: The Party Line | Episode 29: Foul Play, with Rebecca O’Keeffe
‘What would constitute a Kaepernick moment for the Irish soccer team over the next 10 days?’
‘Not playing. Refusing to play.
‘There's no other action that you think we could have. There's not a taking the knee for them?’
‘If you're talking about sporting moments, I genuinely think if they refuse to play that would be a sporting moment that we celebrate in this country. It would constitute one of the great sporting moments of this country. I think it will impact far beyond the game. I think it will have a domino effect.
That will be a sporting moment. And sporting moments bring the country together collectively. It captures the nation. And that would do it.’
‘It would be Jesse Owens. It would be Muhammad Ali not going to Vietnam. I do think that's the level we're talking about.’
