I'm a little old for that at 60, but that's exactly why I'd rather deal with it now than later. We have more than enough volunteers to meet our needs. If enough folks listen to people like you, we won't. Had we let Iran continue down their desired path, it would be our kids (yours and mine) being drafted (or otherwise negatively impacted) once they finally developed nukes and used them on us. I don't want that for their future. I respect your right to an opinion, and I know you mean well, but we'll just have to agree to disagree on this subject. You're not going to change my mind, and I don't think I'm going to change yours. Again, I don't doubt that you mean well.

In any case, @SaraForTexLege, I wouldn't call Obama's nuclear deal with Iran anything other than a GIFT TO IRAN. If you really believe that "deal" was going to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, then you're beyond help and have no business running for political office.

I know ABC's Nightline began as a nightly update on the Iran hostage crisis. Once it ended, the show became known as Nightline and continued for a long period of time. Did you know that? Later on, of course, Jimmy Kimmel took over the 10:30 PM Central timeslot, and led to an abrupt lowering of the average American's IQ. Belive me, I'm not a bot. Right. I'm a bot. I've been on here since 2010 and have zero user name changes, but I guess I'm a bot because the Democrat nominee for HD 132 said so. Listen, I don't hate you...heck, I can't hate you because I don't even know you...but I just don't think you're seeing the full picture. I'll go as far as to say I'm glad there are people like you that disagree with me on certain issues because it helps us find a balance as a society. However, on this particular issue, I truly believe you're way off base. Ever since I was a teenager, Iran has wanted nothing more than to destroy us. Do you not see that? Believe me, if they had the means, they would absolutely destroy us, and I don't want that for my kids. Iran has had multiple opportunities to do the right thing, but they're hell bent on bringing death to America. Either we do what it takes to prevent that, or they'll ensure it happens. It's really that simple.
