My latest short film 'Get in the Sea'
Thanks to @NobbyNolano and @arthurgthorpe for taking their kit off in January on a freezing cold beach and @DaymonBritton too.
Also amazing job by @AliHutchinson10 for shooting it and @PictureCanning for the kit.

I've stuck to Covid rules assiduously, and know that science and evidence are our way out of this.
But to those in NYC and LA who haven't opened cinemas, and others in India, Ireland here in Scotland, etc, who are now closing them, I say: show us how you made your decisions...
Could you imagine if there was a one hour blackout of all arts and media?
Broadcaster's throwing up their test cards; streaming services displaying a message explaining the current crisis it faces.
Just one hour, no news, no Sport coverage, no Soaps, no bingeable box sets.
74% of people want test and trace taken away from private firms.
I agree with them - it's time to end outsourcing and privatisation for good.

We stand in solidarity with all those affected by the actions of Tyneside Cinema’s management.
Developing PTSD after dealing with your employer is not normal.
We demand a true safe space for everyone.
Dear @MattHancock
I just went to get a Covid test. I didn’t have an appointment, but the staff at the test site had previously told me I didn’t need one (I’ve been before).
I live in London, but your excellent website gave me Aberdeen as my nearest test site. (1/5)
#TynesideCinema has axed its visual arts/artists moving image programme, Projections. They say they can't afford it. Which would be fine, except Projections was fully funded by @ace_national. Guess what? The cinema are still receiving that money, £124,000 a year. Why? #TynesUp

This month, the independent inquiry into sexual harassment, assault and bullying at Tyneside Cinema should be complete. They’ve already refused to commit to sharing the findings publicly. We will be calling for a publicly available report - given they’re a publicly funded org.
In every borough but one in London people spend over 50% of their income on rent.
In only 2 German cities do people spend more than 30% of their income on rent
