I hate these posts, but since I do have some X-clusive followers here (har har), I'm posting to pin this on my profile: I'm not planning on being active here anymore. If you want to see my work, you can find me on IG, FB, or Vero... or sign up for my newsletter (linked in bio).
@ChipotleTweets I could have raised a chicken and cooked it myself before I got my order at Rosedale & 8th in Fort Worth... walked out after waiting an hour for my pickup app order.
@ChipotleTweets you need to fix your Rosedale location in Fort Worth. Waiting an hour for a pickup order is completely unacceptable, yet this store is always a mess. Never going back. And now I get to waste more time calling customer service to get a refund for food I never got.

@kiers Indeed! I haven't really posted here in almost a month, can't say I've missed it. I'll probably pop in via the iPad app here and there, just hate the desktop experience (and refuse to install it on my phone).
@thatGregVaughn Eh, maybe here and there. I'm just kind of tired of seeing the same posts across 3-4 platforms: consolidating feels like the way to go instead of replacing X w/Threads.
@SMarinoPhoto I've pretty much decided to stop posting here. I rarely saw great engagement anyways, and since I don't have the app installed I'm forced to see all the trending nonsense on the desktop site. Not my cup o' tea!
@MPLandscapes Nice write up. As much as I whine about living in boring north Texas, it does mean I'm hungry to get out and shoot when I have trips planned, or the local weather finally breaks from the ridiculous summer heat.
@alexnail After dealing with inexplicable butchering of my post uploads, on top of all the reasons you listed, I’ve decided to stop posting here. I check in here and there, but don’t really miss it at all.
@KaiHornung I hear ya on the strong foregrounds bit. I never really embraced that compositional approach anyways, but they do seem a bit "dime a dozen" these days. Of course, shooting mostly with my 100-400 doesn't really make foregrounds a consideration. 🙃
@elonmusk why are image uploads being butchered in quality the last 24-48 hours? Same file, totally different result in the original post vs the one I added in the comments. Cut down from 3000 x 2000 to 1200 x 800 pixels. Looks awful when expanded.
Burdened with Beauty (Texas, 2022) - Another one from an amazing morning full of amazing fall colors just 20 minutes from my house. If only Texas falls were always so spectacular!
@rwongphoto It seems it's chopping the dimensions in half - or worse - upon upload. My post from yesterday looks terrible, and if you inspect the code you can see the pixel dimensions are butchered (uploaded at 2000x3000). I reshared it in the comments and it's fine.
