What do you think is the most efficient way of getting closer to Allah?
Physical (example praying WITHOUT intention/spiritual connection) just motions
Spirit/intention ( intention/ mindset for why you are doing an action) feeling connection spiritually
Or both combined 🤔
Good morning, I found this quote by Al Ghazzali: “Remember it is the heart and not the body, which strives to draw near to God. By heart I do not mean the flesh perceived by the senses, but that secret thing which is sometimes expressed by spirit, and sometimes by soul”

It is important to take some time after salah to do Tadabbur. For example, we can recite ayahtul kursi as Rasul Allah (sa) said “there will be nothing between us and Jannah but our death for whoever recites ayatul kursi after fard salah” and try to deeply reflect on the ayah.
Always check your motives. Your heart knows exactly what’s going on. Then put in the effort needed to get ahead. If your intentions are pure, the results will be phenomenal.

Prayer:
Almighty. At times, I feel I can’t carry on; it’s hard to keep going with such anxious thoughts running through my mind. Grant me peace and a calm heart. Let me surrender my worries, fears and anxieties to you. Grant me guidance and keep me going. Remind me I’m not alone!
If you have nothing good to say, remain silent. Each time you open your mouth to speak, you’re letting others know the state of your mind & what’s in your heart. If your heart is filled with bitterness, it will come out in your words. Be mindful of what’s going on inside you!
