Moving 80 tonnes of industrial radiators ποΈπ’
Our Project Cargo team recently handled the transport of four air-cooled heat exchangers, each weighing 20 tonnes, from Hazira, India, to Dublin, Ireland.
The equipment is destined for a new power plant in Ireland, where it will help cool the systems supporting a high-efficiency gas turbine and generator capable of producing 299 MW of electricity.
The shipment required careful planning and coordination across teams, including our UK Project Cargo colleagues, who helped resolve an operational challenge to ensure a successful discharge in Dublin.

Seven crew members. One team. One great Barcolana. β΅π
The MSC Sailing Team was back in Trieste for Barcolana 58, joining thousands of sailors for one of the world's largest sailing regattas.
And what a race it was! Our team finished 1st in their category and 37th overall among 1,858 boats, proving once again that you can punch above your weight with the right team.
But Barcolana is about more than the race itself. It's also an opportunity to bring colleagues, customers and the sailing community together, both on the water and at the MSC Lounge.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us in Trieste and helped make this year's event so special.

Thank you for the conversations, Madrid π πͺπΈ
Last week's Fruit Attraction brought together more than 120,000 trade professionals from over 150 countries across the global fresh produce industry.
For us, the most valuable part was the conversations. Over three busy days, our team shared ideas, discussed fresh produce supply chains and listened to the different needs of our customers.
We also showcased MSC iReefer, which gives customers real-time visibility into their refrigerated cargo, including location, temperature and humidity throughout its journey.
π₯ Watch some of the highlights from our three days at Fruit Attraction below.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Madrid. See you next year!

A new hospital ship is taking shape βοΈ β€οΈ
Africa Mercy II is a new purpose-built hospital ship from Mercy Ships, brought to life through a major commitment from the @MSC_Foundation.
Earlier this year, the keel laying marked an important milestone in its construction. When Africa Mercy II enters service, it will help Mercy Ships expand access to life-changing surgical care and medical training across sub-Saharan Africa.
We're proud to support this long-standing partnership and the logistics and maritime expertise that MSC brings to Mercy Ships and its work.

A project cargo move starts long before the cargo moves ποΈ β
That's one of the things we talked about at Breakbulk Americas in Houston last week.
Because with project cargo, no two moves are the same, so careful planning and coordination are essential.
Over the past year alone, we've moved railcars from Belgium to Egypt and shipped 6,000 cubic metres of chillers and compressors from Houston to Pakistan. And everything in between.
π₯ Watch the highlights from Houston, featuring Ben Collins, Daniel John, Luis Varela and Alexander Schulz.

1,000 vessels. And still evolving. π’ β
This World Maritime Day, we're looking at how continuous investment, new technology and hundreds of individual improvements are helping our fleet evolve.
In 2025 alone, we completed 265 energy-efficiency retrofit initiatives across our fleet. Since 2008, we have reduced carbon intensity by around 50%, while 66% of our fleet capacity is now capable of connecting to shore power while at berth.
And we're continuing to invest in the future, with more than 140 dual-fuel LNG-capable newbuilding vessels set to join our fleet in the coming years.

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Captain Pasquale Formisano.
Pasquale was one of the pioneers who helped build MSC from its earliest years. In the early 1970s, he worked alongside our founder, Captain Gianluigi Aponte, as MSC began to grow, and accompanied the first MSC vessel to call at Antwerp.
Over the decades that followed, Pasquale became one of the most recognised and respected figures in the shipping industry. His extraordinary dedication to MSC and deep knowledge of shipping earned him enormous respect from customers, partners, colleagues and peers around the world.
But for those who knew him, Pasquale was much more than that. A man of strong principles and strong character, he was straightforward, hardworking and generous, with an unmistakable sense of humour and a big heart. He was always there to help friends and colleagues.
Pasquale was truly one of a kind, and his loss leaves a great void for all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. But the mark he left on our company, our industry and so many people will remain.
Our deepest sympathies are with his family and loved ones at this very sad time.
Buon vento, caro Pasquale. β
