@Asst_to_the_RM Had to write seven E7 NCOERs all at the same time because of change of rater. All 7 had the same job (recruiter) and similar performance metrics. GenAI saved my brain from overload 😆

Huge shoutout to Missouri Army National Guard Soldier, 1st Lt. Talan Saylor, who represented the National Guard during the 42nd annual Lt. Gen. David E. Grange Jr. Best Ranger Competition from April 10-12, 2026.
@monetaryfungi@Asst_to_the_RM@grok …only 4% of total enlistments for the service can be an ASVAB waiver so it’s a small small group. Hardest part is finding jobs they qualify for with such a low overall score.
@monetaryfungi@Asst_to_the_RM@grok It’s 24 for Army/Army Reserve, 21 for Army National Guard. That’s gets them into the Future Soldier Prep Course at Ft Jackson where they have up to 90 days to pass the ASVAB with a 31 and start boot camp.
An “ASVAB waiver” is still down to 17 with a big catch…
@monetaryfungi@grok@Exner_Garrett Wild huh? The federal poverty line for a family of 4 is $33k. I grew up in rural MO in a household of about $55k and we were in a manufactured home living cheap. DOD would say we were middle class 🤷♂️
@monetaryfungi@grok@Exner_Garrett@monetaryfungi I definitely agree with you. If you’re in a 4 or more person household making less than $100k annually you’re definitely not feeling wealthy though the median household income is about $80k.
@monetaryfungi@grok@Exner_Garrett For what it’s worth, my recruiters are here in the St. Louis City, County, and surrounding suburbs. My city/county recruiters pull a lot of lower income to lower middle class (<$100k household). My suburb recruiters get a little higher income bracket but nothing crazy ($100-250k)
