State of Emergency

On September 26, 2025, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia declared a state of emergency. The Malaysian Armed Forces deployed the 12th Mechanized Infantry Regiment of the Royal Malay Regiment to Kuala Lumpur.
