Fake news peddler Voice of BD Hindus claimed that 3 Hindus were murdered in Rangpur within just 48 hours.

It mentioned three names: Niloy Kundu, Arpita Tudu and Hridoy Babu.

Among these three names, Hridoy is Muslim, the son of Abdul Latif Mia and died by suicide after an argument with his wife.

Arpita died after drowning in a pond while she was searching for a duck. It was an accidental death and the family has no complaint.

Niloy died by suicide in his room after an argument with his mother. The family also has no complaint, which is why the body was handed over to the family.

So, the Hindutva propaganda account portrayed a Muslim suicide death, an accidental drowning death and a suicide death as Hindu murders in Bangladesh.

There were media reports headlined that in Badarganj of Rangpur, 7 deaths occurred within 48 hours. The reports mentioned the causes as suicide, lightning strike, drowning and one alleged murder. Out of these 7, 5 were Muslims and the alleged murder victim was also Muslim.

It is likely that the propaganda handle took the names from these reports and selectively and falsely portrayed the deaths as murders to push a false communal narrative.

According to the rule applied by this Hindutva handle in the attached post: "5 Muslims murdered in Rangpur within 48 hours!"
