When I finish reading a book, especially if it’s the last of a series, I get sad. And maybe that’s why I reread books, because it’s like bringing to life old family, friends, memories again and the sadness goes away. Reading is such magic. I’m so glad I love it.

Update: went and did a little walk about in the snow. Made my heart happy. Definitely more snow that it appears from my couch. Snowfall is the best fall

This doesn’t appear to be what I would define as “blizzard like conditions” it’s just cold, lightly snowing. Not minimizing the danger, but it’s not swirling zero visibility snow storm. All of this is said safely from my couch so could be inaccurate. Stay safe and warm!

I said this on blue sky but I’ll say it here too. If you’re in the KC area, do yourself a favor and dine at the Union on the Hill. We did take out for NYE and it was phenomenal! Can’t wait to actually dine in. So good!
