At an Islamic conference in Oslo 10 years ago, the host speaker said:
“These are general views that every Muslim actually has. Every Muslim believes in these things. Just because they’re not telling you about it, or just because they’re not out there in the media, doesn’t mean they don’t believe in them.”
Death penalty for homosexuals.
Subjugation of women.
These are not fringe, radical or extreme views among Muslims in the West.
Standard, according to themselves.
@RabbiPoupko@rulajebreal I first met Adi's parents when they came last year to speak in Montreal. They're such warm and loving people. I had the pleasure of having lunch with them in Jerusalem this past December.
Today, Montreal’s Italian community joined the Greek community in condemning the motion put forward by Projet Montréal.
This is the Montreal we should aspire to be: communities from different backgrounds supporting one another and coming together for the good of our city, rather than elected officials pursuing political agendas that have nothing to do with Montreal’s real priorities.
Thank you to Montreal’s Italian and Greek communities for taking a stand and defending the spirit of coexistence that makes our city stronger.
Montreal and Montrealers first.
Harley Finkelstein, the Jewish president of Shopify, was interrupted by an anti-Israel protester while speaking at Startupfest in Montreal on Wednesday during a discussion on entrepreneurship with former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre.
The session, held at the Grand Quay of Montréal, focused on entrepreneurship and leadership. At the time of the disruption, Finkelstein and St-Pierre were discussing the parallels between fighters and entrepreneurs.
Footage of the incident shows a man identified as Yves Engler shouting, “Mr. Finkelstein, why have you supported the genocide on Gaza? How many children have been killed, Mr. Finkelstein?”
Audience members quickly drowned out the protester with boos, with one woman heard yelling, “Go away, you’re ruining it,” before security escorted the man from the venue.
Finkelstein later wrote that the protester was motivated by “antisemitism. Pure and simple. Disguised under a thin veil of advocacy, and everyone in the room saw right through it.”
“I was on stage with Georges St-Pierre talking about entrepreneurship. Not politics,” Finkelstein said. “A man burst in, screaming horrible accusations at me anyway. Third time in two years, including at the opening of a Jewish community centre. My parents were in the front row. I’ll never forget their faces.”
“When the target is always the Jew and never the topic, it’s not advocacy. It’s hate,” he added. “The room booed him down and cheered as he was walked out. I’m grateful for that. Hate got escorted out. We got right back to building.”

Aucun n’a survécu.
@goddek Hiding?
You ran away to live in a cave, lol.
Nobody in this organization hides being part of this organization. Lol. We are PROUD to be Jewish and we will fight back always.
This is Hajra Amjad. She is employed by the Montreal Jewish Library.
Yesterday she posted on Linked in the following:
"In an era when pro-Palestine voices are amplifying across the western world, when Mamdani backed candidates win the seats and cause a "political earthquake" by defeating AIPAC endorse pro-Israel big political weights, the Zi0nist deep state is trembling with fear....
They are cracking down on free speech and bringing in laws to criminalize any criticism of Israel as anti-semitism.
Isra-el does not monopolize the voice of all Jews, thinking that is an act of anti-semitism in itself...."
Fire her. Our community should never be employing people who think they can define us, and hate us.
FIRE HER.

2) Moss is the second high-profile Montreal Jew to decide this spring to leave the city, after Concordia University professor @GadSaad broke the news on @JoeRogan's podcast two weeks ago.

1) BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: The chief of cardiac surgery at Jewish General Hospital is quitting Montreal to move to Atlanta, citing rising antisemitism in the city. Dr. Emmanuel Moss's departure will deal a blow to the province's already perilous health system.

Ceci est inacceptable.
À titre de conseiller municipal du district où cela s’est produit, j’ai demandé au SPVM d’ouvrir une enquête.
*This is unacceptable.
As the city councillor for the district where this occurred, I have asked the SPVM to investigate.
HAPPY FAKE NAKBA DAY!🥳
Let's debunk the Nakba narrative — again.
It was NOT the catastrophe the anti-democracy mob purports. The Nakba was the Arabs losing a war they started — in the most humiliating way.
I'll explain simply:
On May 14, 1948, Israel declared independence. Immediately following that declaration, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Saudi Arabia waged a genocidal war against the new Jewish state.
Their plan: the complete and utter annihilation of Israel and the Jewish people.
Israel had no army and few weapons. Adversaries ambushed them from all directions.
While the US and UK prevented Israel from getting arms, the Brits trained and armed the Arabs.
Against ALL odds, tiny, unprepared Israel defeated SIX trained and well-armed armies.
One of the greatest military humiliations in history. And the Arabs and Palestinians repeated similar self-inflicted humiliations in 1967 and again in 1973.
If you want to talk about a real Nakba, then talk about the one million Jews ethnically cleansed from Arab countries...
Those Jews were forced to flee, after murders, rapes, and pogroms. Generations of their wealth, history, and places of worship left behind.
No refugee status. No United Nations cheque every month — for seven generations. No “right of return.”
Oh, and why is 20 per cent of Israel’s population Arab-Israeli? Well, as part of that 1948 war, Arab leaders ordered Arabs on Israeli land to leave their homes. They promised them they could return home after they exterminated the Jews.
Israelis pleaded with the Arabs not to listen.
“We are peace-loving people,” the Israelis published widely, inviting the Arabs to stay. “There is no cause for fear which others try to instill in you.”
The ones who fled went to various refugee camps throughout the Arab states. Their living conditions were poor and the Arab states did not grant them any rights. Israel offered to take the refugees back. But nope! They did not want to live amongst Jews.
The Arabs who did not leave remain today as part of the Arab-Israeli population of 2 million. Their rights are equal to those of Jewish-Israelis.
The Nakba was never a catastrophe inflicted upon Arabs. It was always a self-inflicted embarrassment. This is not taught to Arab or Palestinian children in schools because it’s humiliating.
But why isn’t this important piece of history taught in schools everywhere else around the world? Too many schools in Canada, for instance, allow this propaganda to be a part of their classroom studies.
And from a marketing perspective, this propaganda is well-positioned to be accepted by people who don’t know any better because they never received this education in any history class.
The word “Nakba” is also cleverly wielded.
A non-English word, it acts as a mysterious, yet symbolic placeholder for whatever trauma your mind can conjure. The ambiguity gives it power. The unfamiliarity of its language and culture gives it a sense of empathetic authenticity.
You want it to be real, so you can demonstrate your empathy for its cause. Suicidal empathy.
But for those who suffer from Factophobia, let me break it down again — in the absolute simplest way possible:
The Nakba was the Arabs’ effort to colonize another country, genocide its people, lose a brutal war they started, and then whine about it to the world, forevermore.
Essentially, Nakba is also the biggest scam in the history of humankind. Now history repeats itself — yet again. Which also means Israel will emerge victorious again.
Am Yisrael Chai🇮🇱
P.S. What's the term for ethnic cleansing of Jews from all Muslim-colonized land?
