Junior debaters enjoyed a day @ScottishTUC as guests of @STUC_Schools Watching as Congress debated a motion to tackle rising fascism in society, @HumzaYousaf delivering his speech. And then took part in an event with a debate aimed at raising awareness of Unions in schools.

The referendum count is in. Thanks to Ben and Jak for the count.
The result found that there were 73 votes cast. Those votes are as follows;
Yes - 55
N0 - 5
Spoilt papers - 5

This was an activity to allow pupils and parents to make informed decisions, based on multiple sources.

Noticeable take away from election 2021; the election of the first woman of colour @kaukabstewart the election of the first person fully wheelchair reliant @GlasgowPam an increase in votes for @scottishgreens and likely a large turnout by new 16 year old voters. #HealthyDemocracy
