The book was written by Anna Wintour’s former assistance. As soon as they announced they will be making a movie “Wintour contacted all of her top designers and told them you will not be in Vogue again if you do anything to help this movie!” See which designers helped anyway.

On the set Streep kept herself isolated from the young women to stay in character.
“Streep went up to Hathaway and said I think you’re absolutely perfect for this role. I’m trilled we will be working together and this is the last nice thing I will say to you!” - Stephen Whitty.
