@EvanPetzold His defensive liability makes him a back-up infielder and occasional DH along with Valencia and Carp.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@TigersData Pitching is weak and unproven over a season. They need to land a true ace because Valdez is not the guy.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@TigersData I'd trade Greene, Tork and cut Baez.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@Lynn_Henning Why wasn’t Miguel Cabrera there either in person or video. Seems odd.

@tigers @WatchDSN @971theticketxyt Stupid lineup.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@riger1984 Bigger question. Why does Hinch keep batting him 3rd or 4th? Hinch does not adjust the lineup effectively based on hitting trends.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@VandyonTigers Very well said, John. This is the lame strategy of Scott Harris.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@riger1984 That's what happens when you play guys out of position. I think the thought is most Tigers player are poor defensively anyway, so no big loss to bring in an inexperienced "body."

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@touchdown113 @mlbtraderumors He hit higher than .800 OPS against lefties. Hinch should have leveraged that better.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@Lynn_Henning You are nuts. Let's get rid of all their top-tier players so we can stock the minors with guys who have a one-in-four chance of even making the majors, then alone being a significant contributor.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@BNightengale Rogers stats in 2026 vs. Left-Handed Pitchers: .263 AVG, .333 OBP, .474 SLG, .807 OPS. Hinch rarely leveraged that advantage. There is no reason to believe Barnhart will ever end up in MLB.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@seideljeff What happened to Evan?

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@EmilyCWaldon Grade for Scott Harris: D-

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@riger1984 Back to earth? How 'bout "to the depths of the Deep Sea?"

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@beckjason 50 years.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@JimCosta_ Maybe they expect to trade Mize and Flaherty at the trade deadline as well.

[Marc B. @MSUJuice]

@beckjason Really.? After three years of runners thrown
Out at home, Hinch sees the light. More to it.
