Missouri State Choral Studies had a fantastic weekend! The 2022 Invitational Honor Choir put on a wonderful concert Friday afternoon with over 215 local high school students and we celebrated Missouri State with a tailgate party on Saturday. Go, Bears! #RealBearsSing

The MSU Choral Studies program has 4 choral conducting graduate assistants. This week we will introduce each of them! Tim Pallett is a first-year GA from South Africa. He obtained his degree in conducting from the University of Pretoria. Tim enjoys camping and gaming!

ACDA’s International Conductors Exchange Program is an opportunity for choral specialists to affirm that music-making transcends borders, ideologies, religion, and more. MSU’s own Dr. Erin Plisco has been selected as one of six fellows and is set to exchange in Germany. Congrats!

The 22-23 school year is off to a great start! Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorus, and Chorale worked with Dr. Jami Rhodes from East Carolina University. Women’s Chorus and Chorale kicked off the first weekend of the school year with retreats in Springfield and Lampe! #RealBearsSing
The most profoundly moving experience working with the awesome @MSU_Choirs (USA) and @TuksCamerata (RSA) who performed an extraordinary concert tonight in Pretoria. Such a privilege to play a small part, and humbled by the brilliance of the choirs and their conductors.
The MSU Women’s Chorus and Chorale had a successful trip to Little Rock, Arkansas to perform for SWACDA! The Chorale had the honor of collaborating with @Baylor University’s A Cappella Choir. Congratulations to all involved!
